Country Pub Tour in Dublin

A Pub Crawl to Remember!

A Pub Crawl to Remember!

On the Country Pub Tour in Dublin, our mini bus allows us to stay on the most scenic routes from Dublin through Co. Wicklow, frequently stopping at both famous landmark pubs and the smaller more traditional style pubs.

We will enjoy a Guinness while admiring the view over Dublin City. After a relaxing meal you can sit outside, enjoy the fresh air and the spectacular setting of Glenmalure, or sit by the fire with an Irish coffee. As the night goes on, we visit a selection of pubs including Redcross, set in a beautiful valley in Co. Wicklow, and the Snug Bar. You will catch plenty of live music, too!

Detailed Itinerary:

We will make our way out of the city & up the Dublin Mountains to our first stop, The Blue Light Bar, which boasts some of the best views over Dublin city. Whether you take in the views while sitting in the beer garden or through the window while sitting beside the cozy turf fire is up to you!

Just 10 minutes up the road is our second stop - one of Ireland's oldest and most famous pubs, Johnnie Fox's. We have plenty of time to enjoy a Guinness and wander around this amazing pub.

Our next leg of the journey will take you from Johnnie Fox's past Enniskerry to Roundwood. Along the way, you will encounter fantastic views of the Sugarloaf Mountain and surrounding scenary. On arrival at Roundwood, we make a quick drink/toilet stop at a specially chosen pub.

After our quick visit to Roundwood, we travel through the amazing countryside to Laragh. We then pass over the Wicklow Mountains, giving you some of the most spectacular views found in Ireland. Even on a misty, foggy day it takes your breath away.

Next stop is the Glenmalure Lodge. After a relaxing dinner, you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and the breathtaking setting of Glenmalure, or sit by the fire with an Irish coffee.

Afterwards, you will visit the Byrne's pub. This is a cozy small traditional country pub.

The last stop of the night will be in Redcross. It is situated in a beautiful valley in Co. Wicklow and is also famous for its pubs...or soon to be, as a movie is being filmed there in the Village's old favorite pub, Mick Cullens (now closed).

We will visit the Snug bar where you'll encounter all sorts of characters and are sure to catch plenty of live music.

After a fun filled adventure, we make our way back to Dublin (the quick way).
